excellent hotel for business travel.

The hotel was closer to my meeting place. the facilities exceeded my expectation. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was amazing. The hotel is a perfect place for business travel i would strongly recommend it.

Wonderful

Great location. Near Songdo convention center and MRT, as well airport bus stop. Near Lotte shopping place. Has indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

Staff, location (opposite of the city main park), value for money, gym, swimming pool, steam room, on-site mini market and coffee shop.

Good

As I was attending a conference at the Convensia building, the location of the Orakai was excellent. The room was nice with a beautiful view of the park. The bed was comfortable. There was free bottled water in the fridge which was replenished regularly. The hamburger and beer at the Thirsty Monk were good.

There were some issues for me with this hotel. The pool was not free to use for hotel guests so I didn't use it. The price to use the pool was too much for me (16000KRW for a morning, when I just wanted to swim a few laps in the morning). The bathroom would have been better with a big walk-in shower. There was a tub with a very high side which made climbing in and out quite risky. The shower head was not easy to adjust. There was no sign on the door to hang outside to indicate Do not disturb. And it took me a while to figure out how to turn off the overhead lights in the room, so the first night I slept with them on. I didn't have breakfast or dinner at the Level 19 restaurant as I saw the prices and they were very high. The Thirsty Monk was also a bit on the high side, but not too bad. It was a shame that it was closed on Sundays and Mondays though.

Easy access from subway station; NICE park view. Comfortable bed.

Orakai is a fantastic Songdo Hotel right in the heart of town

I've been staying at the Orakai for 10 years and it's always dependable, clean and a great place to stay.

The breakfast food is good. I'm from the US where we have plentiful coffee. The coffee machine is nice but it would be great if there can be larger quantities of coffee. I also had issues with my TV. It only turned on half the time. Also, there was only 1 English channel from Australia. I love watching the local Korean channels but it would be great if it had CNN or CNN International.

A relaxing overnight stay that left me feeling relaxed and ready to start 2022

It was a clean and relaxing environment to be in with a nice view as well. It was also quite convenient. The breakfast food we ordered was also quite tasty.

Requests for room service and even just a spoon took a pretty long time, and sometimes we even had to call multiple times to check on the requests.

Nice hotel but not good value for money

The bed was so comfortable, and the overall room facilities were fantastic. I requested a room with a bathtub and it was perfect for bubble baths. The cabinets were also fully stocked with amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful, and the room service was quick.

I couldn't believe how expensive it was to use their facilities. The room rate was quite expensive, so I would have expected the Swimming Pool and Sauna to be part of the service charge... not only do you have to pay extra, but you can only use them for alotted time slots! If you want to swim in the morning/afternoon/evening, you must pay 30,000 for each time slot... and it's not a fixed rate, they charge you daily! After my week-long stay, I ended up paying nearly 200,000 just for using their facilities. It was very disappointing considering how much I spent on the room.
